Joe Choroszewski’s drum set setup for the Broadway production of Finding Neverland at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
Read Joe's write-up about the show, below the photos.
"In February of 2016, I took over the drum chair at Finding Neverland from Rich Mercurio when he moved on to a new show. Rich is one of the best drummers I've ever heard and is always very stylistically appropriate. It was my intent to replicate the prior setup as closely as I could with the gear I had available.
It's a very straightforward drum set book, augmented only by a Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad, and no traps percussion.
The Roland pad is mostly integrated with the acoustic kit playing sampled sounds such as concert bass drum, metal pots and pans, and power toms with reverb.
And that's about it! This show is a joy to play."
