"The set up was a real exercise in logistics. Since 80 to 90 percent of the show is either congas or tambourine all the toys are only used once or twice. But when you need them, you need them fast! I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
The floor tom cocktail kit 'bass drum' worked out really well and so did using the top of the marimba for the xylophone lick.
As always, The Miller Machines were life savers! I ended up using the finger cymbal in place of the triangle for 'Stand By Me' because the triangle was picking up in the actors microphones and sounding like feedback."
