Each one is optimized in length, weight, and balance (fulcrum) to get the best sound from your Machine.

  • Brass: Warm and mellow, perfect for soft, expressive passages, ideal for triangle.
  • Brass Ball: Focused and clear without losing warmth, great for a finger cymbal, or crotale.
  • Stainless Steel (red band): Bright, a reliable choice for any style, good all around option.

Swapping beaters is easy, so you can experiment, and find the ideal sound for your setting.

Perfect fit

I got lucky and picked up my third Miller Machine used for cheap. The second hand music store guy said nobody really knew what it was. I was able to get the upgrade kit for the beater which came with a link to very clear instructions on how to upgrade from a previous generation. Nice to have another one in my arsenal. I’ll no doubt get some more theater gigs, and having a third gives me flexibility. Nice to see a company support their products from an earlier incarnation rather than being told “sorry, buy a new one.” Thanks again Billy. I appreciate the way you do business.

Brass ball beater

Great striker for finger cymbal and/or crotale. I bought it for crotale so I can use my finger cymbal arm and miller machine instead of carrying around a whole octave for one note. Very nice sound.

Can't go wrong with the Brass Bell Beater or any of the Miller Machine Products

Recently picked up the brass bell beater, had one Miller Machine left without the original style beater so this upgrade made perfect sense. Definitely provides a better quality of sound for Crotales and Finger Cymbals when compared to the normal standard triangle beaters. Finger cymbal had been becoming a regular reoccurring piece to my theatre setups. Billy always builds great products and stands behind them. If you ever have an issue, reach out to him and he'll make it right. The candy is always an added bonus too.
